The History of Holiday Inn
Back in 1952, a father named Kemmons Wilson was sick of being charged extra to have kids at hotels, so he started his own hotel company where kids were not only welcomed but they got to stay and eat for free! That was the beginning of the Holiday Inn brand and that same concept still applies today at all our brands including the Holiday Inn Rotorua where we are committed to being the best Rotorua family hotel. We also have a geo-thermally heated outdoor pool that families love, a family buffet restaurant renowned for it’s delicious seafood, roasts and desserts, two Disney channels plus Wi-Fi for up to four devices.
